What it does
A 60 by 84 inch rectangular polyester tablecloth with a water repellent, stain resistant finish; reviewed here in place of the NICETOWN spillproof tablecloth it resembles.
- Treated finish so spills can be wiped up with a damp cloth or sponge
- Heavyweight polyester with hemmed edges
- Machine washable and dryer safe
- Same pattern sold in many shapes and sizes, so matching napkins and other sizes are easy to find
- Brand now sells under the Threadmade Home name; older listings use Elrene Home Fashions
A good fit for a family table that sees daily spills, since the treated polyester wipes clean and goes in the washer and dryer. The trade-offs are a higher price band than budget spillproof cloths, and some buyers find the color lighter than the photos.

Questions
What size tablecloth fits a 6 seat rectangular table?
A 60 x 84 inch cloth is the size commonly sold for a rectangular table seating 4 to 6. Measure your table and allow overhang on each side.
Is the Elrene Continental tablecloth waterproof?
It is sold as water repellent and stain resistant. Spills bead up for wiping, but it is a treated fabric, not a vinyl cover.
Can it go in the dryer?
Yes. The maker lists it as machine washable and dryer safe; Target lists cold gentle wash, low tumble dry and a cool iron.
Are Elrene and Threadmade Home the same?
The Continental line is sold under both names. Elrene's old site now redirects to Threadmade Home, and the Amazon listing uses the Threadmade name.
