HPRC 2700W Wheeled Hard Case for DJI Phantom 4 (PHA4-2700W)
A sealed, well fitted Phantom 4 travel case that is heavy, large and costly.
We bought DJI Phantom 3 Professional & Advanced Aluminum Case for RC Propguard Transmitter Drone. It's no longer documented anywhere, so this page reviews the closest well-covered match. It is a fitted Phantom series hard case from a known case maker with published specs and owner discussion, though it costs more and is cut for the Phantom 4.
The short version
- Phantom 4, 4 Pro or 4 Pro+ owners who travel by car or plane with the drone
- Pilots who want a sealed case for wet or dusty sites
- You fly a Phantom 3; the foam is cut for the Phantom 4, so check fit first
- You carry the case on foot over rough ground
- You want a low cost case for home storage
What owners like
- Foam layout fits the drone and accessories closely
- Props can stay on the drone in the case
- Wheels make the weight manageable on smooth ground
Common complaints
- Heavy and large, hard to carry any distance
- Bulkier than a Nanuk case for the same drone

What it does
A watertight wheeled resin hard case with pre-cut foam for a DJI Phantom 4, its controller and accessories; reviewed here in place of the unbranded aluminum Phantom 3 case it resembles, which had no readable listing.
- Pre-cut high density foam holds the drone with props on, the controller and a tablet up to 10 in
- Slots for spare batteries, chargers, cables, filters and spare props
- Comes with a small HPRC 1100 case for microSD cards
- Neoprene seal keeps the case watertight when closed, per HPRC
- Pressure valve for flights and changes in elevation
- Impact, drop and corrosion resistant shell
A strong choice for Phantom 4 owners who fly away from home and want a sealed case that keeps the drone, controller, tablet and spares in fitted foam. The trade-offs are size, weight and price: it is a large rolling case at a much higher price band than generic aluminum cases, and its foam is cut for the Phantom 4, not the Phantom 3.
