Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash (first generation, 2019 to 2025)
A proven low spin tour ball for fast, high spin swings, with a firm feel.
The short version
- Faster swinging golfers whose driver and iron shots spin too much
- Players who like a Pro V1x launch but want a straighter, more wind stable flight
- Golfers who find leftover stock of this generation at a lower price than the 2026 model
- You already hit a low spinning ball off the tee
- You want a soft feel around the greens
- You rely on maximum wedge spin to stop the ball
What owners like
- Lower driver and iron spin brings more distance and a steadier flight for high spin players
- Holds up better in wind than higher spinning balls
- Keeps a Pro V1x style high launch
Common complaints
- Firm, loud, clicky feel compared with Pro V1 and Pro V1x
- Less wedge spin than the regular Pro V1x
- Too little driver spin for players who already spin the ball low
- Scuffs more from wedges than the 2026 Left Dash in a side by side test
Based on Titleist press releases from 2024 and 2025, the Plugged In Golf review of the original Left Dash, and the GolfMagic, AmateurGolf and Golf Shop Online coverage of the 2026 redesign..

What it does
A dozen of the original Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash, the low spin, firm feel tour ball sold from 2019 until Titleist replaced it with a redesigned version in January 2026.
- Built for players who want Pro V1x launch with less long game spin
- Lower spin through the bag, including irons and wedges, compared with the standard Pro V1x in independent testing
- Cast urethane cover for greenside control
- Same construction from its 2018 tour debut until the 2026 redesign, so any dozen of this generation plays the same
- Used by Bryson DeChambeau in his 2024 U.S. Open win, per GolfMagic and AmateurGolf
A good fit for faster swinging golfers who spin the ball too much and want a Pro V1x style launch with noticeably less spin through the bag. The trade-off is a firmer, clickier feel and less wedge spin than the regular Pro V1x, and the 2026 Left Dash that replaced it adds ball speed and scuff resistance.

Questions
What year is the prior generation Pro V1x Left Dash?
It is the original Left Dash. It debuted on tour in 2018, reached retail in October 2019 and was sold until the redesigned version launched on January 21, 2026.
Is the 2024 Enhanced Alignment Left Dash a different ball?
Titleist's May 2024 release described only a longer alignment sidestamp, so it is the same first generation ball with new markings.
How is the 2026 Left Dash different?
Titleist gave it a faster dual core, a thicker high flex casing, a thinner urethane cover and a new 348 dimple design, aiming for more speed and the same low spin.
Left Dash vs Pro V1x, which spins less?
Left Dash. Titleist says it has significantly lower full swing spin and a firmer feel than Pro V1x.
